Single Handed Solutions

Having recently sprained two of the fingers on my left hand, I find myself having to come up with some creative ways to function with one hand. Since I work in food service, how to wash one hand was a big concern. I can do a lot of things one-handed, but that one hand has to be clean and gloved. And constantly asking a co-worker to help me wash my hand might have been going a bit too far. Fortunately, it didn't take too long to come up with this one...

I grabbed a soft bristled bottle brush and used my left elbow to pin it to the edge of the sink. A little soap in the right hand and then I just scrub the hand around the brush to get squeaky clean. It splatters soap all over, but at least it gets the job done!
I was so well pleased with the procedure, I went to Wal*Mart and bought one to use at home too. Best 2.50 I've spent in a while!
